- Laura and Mallory have much in common. Laura met Mallory in the 8th grade, and, by an amazing coincidence, Mallory met Laura on the exact same day! They have never really stuck to anything beyond watching TV shows and eating various tasty bread products and they have no hobbies or interests. Regardless of what you are talking about, if you can give it up or quit it, they've tried it and done just that. But all that is about to change! Cakes -- like their friendship -- fell into their laps precisely when they had given up being unique or having a "thing" entirely.
